WooCommerce Simple Auctions

WooCommerce Simple Auctions by wpgenie adds Auction and Auction Lot product types to WooCommerce. This guide describes plugin 4.0.0.

The WordPress Plugins screen uses the name WooCommerce Simple Auction. For an existing store, start with Updating Existing Installations. For activation and updates, see License & Updates.

Use individual auctions for independent items. Use an auction lot to group items into a sale with shared scheduling, optional sessions, and parallel or sequential bidding.

  • Normal and reverse auctions, with optional proxy or sealed bidding.
  • Starting prices, bid increments, percentage increments, reserve prices, and Buy It Now.
  • Auction extensions for late bids and relisting for another sale cycle.
  • Parallel and sequential lots, sessions, viewing days, and winner order creation.
  • Watchlists, customer notifications, auction activity, winners, and analytics.

Winning an auction and paying for it are separate steps. A successful auction result does not by itself confirm payment.
